Hala Sharouny, one of Egypt’s Expressionist artists, graduated with a BA and MFA from the Faculty of Art, Helwan University in 2004. Through her diverse and vibrant palette, Hala’s artwork addresses contemporary social issues such as the rapport between women and society, sprinkling it with humorous twists along with dynamic, playful techniques. As a professional freelance artist, her work has been locally and internationally exhibited in Egypt, Tunisia, Austria, Turkey,France, England, Kuwait, Palestine, USA, UAE, Italy, Lebanon, Canada, Greece, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Kenya, Macedonia, China, Australia, Argentina, Macedonia and Switzerland.
